45th Design Automation Conference to Host Six Collocated Events

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 45th Design Automation Conference (DAC) has coordinated with organizers of six related industry events and conferences to collocate with DAC to provide greater benefit to participants. This year’s DAC collocated events are: the Semiconductor Test Consortium; MEMOCODE 2008; 6th IEEE Symposium on Application Specific Processors; Gigascale Systems Research Center Quarterly Workshop (GSRC); International Workshop on Hardware-Oriented Security and Trust (HOST-2008); and the IEEE/ACM Symposium on Nanoscale Architectures (NANOARCH ’08). The 45th DAC will be held June 8-13, 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

From June 4-6 at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego, the Semiconductor Test Consortium will host an interactive forum to meet industry colleagues worldwide and address solutions to the technical and business test-related challenges. The consortium will feature presentations from industry professionals throughout the semiconductor supply chain.

MEMOCODE 2008, scheduled for June 5-7 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will bring together researches and professional practitioners of modern hardware and software systems design to address how future design methods can benefit from new results on formal methods.

The 6th IEEE Symposium on Application Specific Processors, set for June 8-9 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will address system level and embedded design to address challenges and solutions facing today’s designers.

The GSRC workshop, on June 8 at the Anaheim Hilton, will address the challenges of parameter variability and circuit reliability, power, concurrency and reliability.

On June 9 at the Anaheim Convention Center, the International Workshop on Hardware-Oriented Security and Trust (HOST-2008) will serve as an open forum to discuss the issues surrounding the vulnerabilities in chip design in military and financial systems.

From June 12-13, NANOARCH ’08 will focus on new and emerging technologies. Serving as a forum for presentation and discussion, the conference will include technical sessions, panel discussions and a keynote address by Dr. James R.
