What: * Experts from The MathWorks will present papers and provide demonstrations on applying Model-Based Design to applications in the automotive industry. Where/When: SAE World Congress, Cobo Center, Detroit, MI, April 14-17, 2008 At this year’s SAE World Congress The MathWorks, located in Booth #1613, will showcase the latest advances in products supporting Model-Based Design and demonstrate how it is being deployed by the world’s leading automotive manufacturers for production vehicle programs. The booth will feature a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid. The development of its two-mode, full-hybrid propulsion was enabled by Model-Based Design, including automatic production code generation. Experts from The MathWorks will participate in the technical program and provide in-booth demonstrations on applying Model-Based Design to automotive applications, such as the development of AUTOSAR-compliant software components, safety-critical embedded software, signal processing systems, and improved embedded software reliability using PolySpace products.
