Arithmatica Joins the Cadence Connections Program

Membership Facilitates the Development of a Complete Cadence-based Datapath Design Flow

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arithmatica, the datapath design company, today announced that it has joined the Cadence® Connections® program. As a member of the Cadence Connections program, Arithmatica will have access to Cadence technology for the purpose of verifying and supporting an ASIC design flow using Arithmatica’s CellMath Designer, the industry’s only specialized synthesis tool for datapath design, and CellMath IP, Arithmatica’s specialized datapath IP functions.

“We’re impressed with the quality of results produced by Cadence’s RTL synthesis, formal verification, and simulation products,” said Dan Ganousis, CEO of Arithmatica. “We’ve seen many of our customers adopting the Cadence technology so it’s important for us to work cooperatively with Cadence to support a complete datapath design flow from RTL to gates.”

Arithmatica is the only EDA company focused solely on datapath design automation to reduce power consumption, improve area utilization, and increase performance of datapath-intensive ICs. Arithmatica’s tools, IP and services provide competitive benefits for IC designers in media and network processing, cryptography, consumer electronics, and high-performance computing applications. Arithmatica’s patented datapath technology provides differentiated product improvement and accelerated design cycles for datapath design engineers.
