What You Get
Each Targeted Sponsorship includes top, middle, and bottom banner placements plus a descriptive text ad/link in both the targeted channel e-mail newsletter(s) of your choice, and in the selected content areas of the EE Journal website. You get true dominance regardless of where on the page the viewer is going, or how they access our content. If they read our e-mail newsletter, you're there. If they come to our home page, you're there. If they come from a search engine directly to our articles, news stories, or forum topic, you're there as well. Even if they flow in from a social media site like facebook or twitter - your message is delivered, right alongside our audience-capturing content.
To be sure your budget is focused on the audience you want, your ads are matched with content pages on the topics you choose. You pick the topics from our list of targeting channels, and we deliver them in an optimized fashion.

How do you know if your campaign is working? We give you a secure login to our ad server where you can monitor and track your campaign in real time and download results and reports, as well as assistance and training from a Techfocus Media Associate who will help you with any questions you may have.
What You Give Us (Specifications)
Targeted Sponsorships require four ads which run in both the e-mail newsletters and on the website. Each ad must be submitted in both e-mail and web forms. Popular third-party ad tags are supported for web. e-mail ads must be graphics only with a linking URL. (the URL may be a tracking link)
- IAB standard "Full Banner" (468x60) for the upper right location in the e-mail newsletter, and the upper right location on all pages of the website
- IAB standard "Large Rectangle" (336x280) for the main content area of the e-mail newsletter, and the main content area of all pages of the website
- IAB standard "Leaderboard" (728x90) for the bottom footer location in the e-mail newsletter, and the bottom footer location on all pages of the website
- Text Ad (500 characters or less with one link) for the "announcements" section of the e-mail newsletter and the main content area of all pages of the website
Each banner ad must be submitted as .jpg or .gif for the e-mail newsletter. For the e-mail, no rich media, flash, or third-party ad tags are supported. Animated .gif is OK, and click URLs may include tracking..
For the web, each banner may optionally be submitted in rich-media format (flash, etc.) and may be delivered using popular third-party ad server tags. For web ads, a backup .jpg or .gif ad is required for browsers (such as mobile browsers) that do not support rich media.
Ad materials are due one week prior to publication, and must be submitted to adcopy@techfocusmedia.com

What it Costs
Targeted Sponsorships are sold on a CPM basis, and must be booked in advance. Contact our sales for a quote specific to your campaign needs. Since newsletter sponsorships are exclusive, dates are subject to availability and prior sale. Dates are only reserved once a signed Insertion Order is received, and cancellation fees apply.
